Meeting at the Council of the Baltic Sea States Secretariat from 14 to 16 December 2015
From 14 to 16 December 2016 an international Meeting at the Council of the Baltic Sea States Secretariat in Stockholm takes place with the goal to increase capacity and competence of environmental NGOs from Belarus and North-West part of Russia on development and implementation of successful cooperation projects in the field of sustainable development and to establish a deeper contact between the NGOs from these countries which might lead to long-term cooperation for future projects.
During the Meeting representatives of the Swedish Institute, Sida (tbc), Forum Syd, and Swedish Environmental NGOs can be met, the relationships between the NGOs established, the needs and interests of the participants mapped and possible future projects can be discussed, as well as knowledge and expertise in the relevant fields of sustainable urban development can be transferred.
16 December: 15:30 – 16:00 Baltic Sea Conservation Foundation by Peter Torkler, Managing Director
As a part of the conference theme “Funding Opportunities”, Peter Torkler presents the Baltic Sea Conservation Foundation. As the managing director of the foundation he informs about the foundations guidelines as well as about funding priorities and criteria.
