Following a recently finished project in the Russian northwest that focused on collecting trash with the help of volunteers on the shores near St. Petersburg, we continue our work with Russian nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in Kaliningrad. As of 01.03.2017 the project Pollution prevention in small water bodies in Kaliningrad Region carried out by the State Autonomous Institution of Kaliningrad region“Environmental Center ECAT began its activities in Vishtyneckiy Nature Park, whose water bodies strongly affect the Baltic Sea. Therefore, we gladly support the informational campaign and the pollution reduction objectives taking place until 30.06.2018. The Baltic Sea Conservation Foundation is eager to establish networks between environmental NGOs in the Baltic Sea Region. Thus, we are pleased to note that our new partner ECAT organizes events in cooperation with our first Russian partner “Games of the Future”. Learn more about the project here.
